An effervescent constellation
This installation is a mobile resembling a suspended constellation. It emits light as it floats through space; each luminous projection is a scintillating animated dance evoking the purity of ice and the magic of a Montreal winter. Created specifically for Complexe Desjardins by Montreal scenic artist Nicolas Ricard, Givrescence comes to life at specific times as part of a sound and light show. During the show, the central fountain’s water jets work in sync with music, while the installation’s light effects are projected throughout the Complexe.
Fountain show schedule:
Daily from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., every hour
Please note that there will be no fountain shows on:
26 January: between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.
8 February: between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.
12 February: between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m.
13 to 15 February: no shows during the day
28 February: between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.
1 to 8 March: between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
