A festive celebration welcoming new artworks to LUMINO
Dress up in glowing accessories and join the LUMINO Carnival! Around fifteen giant luminous characters will parade and deliver spectacular performances to the beats of DJ Serge, right in the heart of Place des Festivals.
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Place des Festivals comes alive with luminous characters and festive activities. You'll encounter Grézil, a giant puppet accompanied by musicians, Léonie la licorne in an enchanting luminous solo, and the Fées des glaces with their sparkling hoops.
Glowing creatures also appear overhead with the Nébuleuses du papillon, a stilt-walking puppet duo, the Waputiks, the Elfes mystiques, le Bal des oiseaux, and le Duc ou la Duchesse de l'hiver, armed with graphic poi.
The celebration continues at ground level with the Bonhommes allumettes, the Cosmonautes en pyjamas, and Stonda, a luminous percussion troupe that makes the square pulse with energy. All of this is powered by DJ Serge aboard the MixBus, a funk bus transformed into a mobile dance floor, plus a free UV circus workshop led by Saphira.
