Impact the brightness of a constellation
Composed of seven modules representing the stars of the Pleiades constellation and the seven sisters of Greek myth, Celestia was created as part of a UNESCO Creative Cities Network initiative. This work adapts it light and sound environment based on the public’s interactions with it. Exploring and rotating the modules reveals poetic stories inspired by Greek mythology and Indigenous legends. The more people interact with the work, the more its light and sound aspects are activated: the light changes to the module’s colour, and the music and narration increase in intensity
